- No. It is a one-time payment of $19 USD. You own the license for life and every future update is included at no extra cost.
- Is there a free version?
- Yes. The TeraConvert web app at teraconvert.com is free and converts common formats (PNG, JPG, MP4, MP3, PDF, DOCX) directly in your browser. The $19 desktop license adds 800+ supported conversions, batch folder processing, and fully offline operation.
- How many devices can I activate?
- One license activates on up to 3 Macs simultaneously. You can deactivate any device from your dashboard to free a slot for a new machine.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- Checkout is powered by Polar.sh and accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. Invoices are issued automatically.
- Do you offer refunds?
- All sales are final per our Terms of Service, except where required by consumer protection law in your region. We strongly recommend running the free web app first so you know exactly what the conversion pipeline delivers before purchase.
- Can I claim TeraConvert as a business expense?
- Yes. After checkout, Polar issues a tax-compliant invoice with your billing details. Many customers expense the $19 license as a one-time software purchase.
- Is the $19 launch price permanent?
- No. $19 is the launch price for the first 100 customers. After that the price returns to its regular $29. Whatever you pay at checkout is locked in for life, including every future update, so your seat is grandfathered.
- What happens if my computer dies or I get a new one?
- Sign in at teraconvert.com/dashboard, deactivate the old device, then activate your new machine. The whole flow takes under a minute and does not require contacting support.
